Mehul Choksi Plays Victim Card In Letter To Gitanjali Gems Employees: Unfair Probe Against Me.
Choksi said his company operations in India have come to a standstill as the investigating and government agencies are creating ‘havoc’. He claims investigating agencies are trying to create ‘fear psychosis’.In the letter, Choksi told his employees to look for new jobs as he was in no position to clear dues.
He further states, “No certainty of salary payment, electricity bill payment, maintenance payment of offices. Laptops and mobile phones issued to employees can be retained by employees till clearance of past dues. HR has been instructed to issue relieving letters and experience certificates. Our future association is deferred till the clearance of all allegations.”
