People have great expectations from Narendra Modi government’s major reform initiatives in this budget. But as is projected by a wing of media that these expectations are not being met, more certainly in the public perception.
The business houses and the common man are always the major stakeholders in any Union Budget. While the big ticket reforms over the past three years might be scoring ten pointers from the industry and traders, same could not be confirmed for people at large, specially the farming group who are still figuring out whether they have bettered their life.
It is argued by the opposition parties that this government has not been able to meet people’s expectations on the economic front, but they often fail to prove with data.
The common man doesn’t know much about the big ticket reforms, or the critical data but made to think that their grocery bill is impacting their kitchen needs, despite the fact that consumer price index has fallen by half or more in last three years on an average. More and more polls predicts that the biggest issue before voters right now is lack of jobs and economic hardships.
